TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

The Blackhawks have taken points in four of their last six games against the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. Forward Taylor Raddysh has four goals (4G, 1A) in nine career games against the Golden Knights. During their last meeting in Vegas on Oct. 27, Philipp Kurashev potted the overtime game-winning goal, while Connor Bedard, Ryan Donato and Raddysh each scored once during a 4-3 victory.

Chicago rookie forward Frank Nazar potted his first NHL goal on his first NHL shot on Sunday against Carolina. With the goal, Nazar (20 years, 91 days) became the fourth-youngest player in Blackhawks history to score in his NHL debut, behind Eddie Olczyk, Jonathan Toews and Ken Solheim. As a team, the Blackhawks continue to lead the league with 69 assists and 102 points from rookie skaters, while their 33 goals are tied for first in the NHL.

Blackhawks forward Andreas Athanasiou buried his second goal of the season against Carolina and now has two goals over his last five games. He also went 6-for-7 (85.7%) in the faceoff circle on Sunday, which was the highest win percentage of all skaters who took five or more draws. Athanasiou now has 11 points (5G, 6A) in 14 career games versus the Hurricanes.

LUKAS SKYWALKER

Lukas Reichel tallied an assist on Sunday and now has four points (1G, 3A) over his last seven games. He now has a career-high 11 helpers this season, while his 15 points match his previous career best (7G, 8A in 2022-23). Reichel currently sits three games shy of 100 for his NHL career, having recorded 31 points (11G, 20A) in 97 games.
