BOSTON -The Boston Bruins will host Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Tuesday, October 25, during their home game against the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. at TD Garden.
Lavender, which represents awareness for all forms of cancer, will be incorporated into the game in several ways. Players will take the ice for warmups in special-edition lavender Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys and will also use lavender stick tape. Bruins coaches and broadcasters will wear lavender ties and pins to show their support.

A ceremonial puck drop will be performed by Mayah White, a 15-year old sophomore at Barnstable High School who was diagnosed in January 2022 with Stage 3 Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. On June 7, 2022, after receiving treatment at Boston Children's Hospital and the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic, Mayah's scans showed no evidence of lymphoma.
Tuesday's anthem will be performed by Boxford, Massachusetts native, Andrew Marshall. Marshall was diagnosed with Leukemia at 16-years old as a junior in high school. After three years of fighting, Marshall is now cancer free and is a successful musician in Nashville, Tennessee.
Fans will have the opportunity to fill out lavender 'I Fight For' cards by visiting staff tables in Loge 5, Loge 7, Loge 15 and Balcony 318. The cards can be displayed during the second intermission, when the Bruins take a moment to honor those who have fought or are currently fighting cancer.
The ProShop powered by '47 will have exclusive Hockey Fights Cancer merchandise available for fans to show their support, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and pucks. Fans can shop in-person at the store on the Hub on Causeway, or online at BostonProShop.com.
