BOSTON - The Boston Bruins will host Hockey is for Everyone Night, presented by TD Bank, on Saturday, February 18, during their game against the New York Islanders at 5 p.m. at TD Garden.

Hockey is for Everyone is an NHL initiative that uses the game of hockey and the National Hockey League's global influence to drive positive social change and foster more inclusive communities regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic status. The Bruins are proud to join this effort in a number of ways.
During the starting lineup announcement, the Bruins will welcome an honorary Hockey is for Everyone lineup to the ice featuring six hockey players representing members of the LGBTQIA+, sled hockey, Black and women's hockey communities.
Patrice Bergeron, as part of the Patrice's Pals program, will host students from Perkins School for the Blind in a suite for Saturday's game. Every student in attendance will receive a customized roster card in braille for the game.
Bruins players will show their support by incorporating American Sign Language t-shirts, Pride hats, and Pride tape into their pre-game routines. All of the player-signed, rainbow-taped sticks will be auctioned off through the Boston Bruins Foundation following the game. Proceeds from the stick auction will benefit Boston Pride Hockey (BPH), New England's first LGBTQIA+ and ally-friendly hockey organization. Founded in 1989, BPH has developed an inclusive community that provides a safe and welcoming environment for players to learn, enjoy and compete across a range of programs, including a first-of-its-kind league, weekly pick-up games, and youth hockey initiatives.
The auction for the rainbow-taped sticks will run until February 27 and is available at BruinsAuctions.org
"We're thankful to continue our partnership with the Boston Bruins and TD Bank to celebrate Hockey is for Everyone Night and reaffirm a collective commitment to upholding an accepting, welcoming, and safe hockey community," said Kevin Corsino, Boston Pride Hockey Communications Director. "As a non-profit organization, fundraisers like the Boston Bruins Foundation stick auction enable us to continue offering a dynamic range of programming for the LGBTQIA+ players and allies throughout our communities - all of which contribute to our mission of fostering an inclusive environment for everyone who wants to participate, on and off the ice.
Fans attending Saturday's game will receive LED wristbands at their seats, courtesy of TD Bank, that are tuned to a pregame light show that will begin prior to the game. All wristbands can be recycled by fans in the concourse following the game
The ProShop, powered by '47, will have exclusive Hockey is for Everyone merchandise available for fans to show their support, including rainbow hats and pucks, ASL t-shirts, and more, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Boston Bruins Foundation. Fans can shop at the store on the Hub on Causeway or online at BostonProShop.com.
Additionally, the Boston Bruins Foundation will host a 50/50 Raffle, presented by DraftKings, that will support SCORE Boston. SCORE Boston is an organization that provides youth players with the opportunity to participate in the sport of ice hockey and the inspiration to see their future differently by using ice hockey as a platform to highlight the importance of education, teach life lessons and foster an environment of tolerance and respect for one another.
The 50/50 Raffle will run until the beginning of the third period and is available to fans at BostonBruins.com/5050.
