The Danish goaltender is participating in the event for the second straight year

MONTREAL -- Prospect Frederik Dichow will participate in the IIHF World Championship with Denmark.

The 21-year-old goaltender enjoyed an impressive campaign with Swedish club Kristianstads IK this past season in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
He posted an 18-9-0 record in 28 regular-season appearances, along with a 2.27 goals-against average, a .930 save percentage, and four shutouts.
Dichow also represented Denmark at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

He recently signed with Frölunda HC in the Swedish Hockey League for next season.
Dichow was a fifth-round pick of the Canadiens, 138th overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft.
