MONTREAL - Sean Farrell has gained a lot of experience in a short amount of time.

The young forward went from dominating with the Harvard Crimson to making his NHL debut on March 28 against the Philadelphia Flyers this past season.

Before making the jump to the pro ranks, the Canadiens' 2020 fourth-round pick also repped the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and IIHF World Championship.

Back at the tournament for a second year in a row,Farrell took some time to answer fan questions on Twitch from Tampere, Finland last Wednesday.

Here are a few highlights from the Q&A:

Please note that many questions have been sourced from the Twitch chat. The answers below have been edited for clarity and conciseness.

Sean Farrell reflects on the last year-and-a-half:

It's been a crazy past year to year-and-a-half. I didn't think a lot of these opportunities would happen. The Olympics kind of came out of nowhere and then the World Championship at the end of last year, too. I wasn't expecting that. So, I've been fortunate to have these opportunities and had a great couple of years at Harvard, had so much fun there and enjoyed every second with my teammates while I was at school.

Farrell on scoring his first NHL goal:

It was amazing. Just hearing the crowd that loud, and I've never heard a rink that loud in my life. That was my first shift in the Bell Centre, and I got a really fortunate bounce. It was an amazing feeling. I mean, I didn't even see it go in. I think Gally [Brendan Gallagher] and [Jake] Evans were on the ice with me, and they were both celebrating before I did, so I just started to celebrate too. It was a really cool moment.

Farrell on learning from head coach Martin St-Louis:

Marty's awesome. I feel like I learned so much from him in just a short time period [in Montreal]. I think I was there for three weeks, and he gave me a ton of advice. He was a smaller forward and knows what you have to do as a smaller guy to make it and fit in the NHL. He gave me a ton of advice that I can take and start working on during the offseason and hopefully bring that into next year.

Farrell on his preference between ziplining with Cole Caufield or ATVing with Jake Evans:

I think I'd pick ATVing just because I've never done it before. I've gone ziplining a couple of times and it's fun, but I feel like ATVing could be a new experience that can be a lot of fun, too.

Farrell on his dream car:

I like Audis. Those Audis... not sports cars, but more like sedan cars. I need something that can fit the hockey bag in it, and I think those cars still look cool.

Farrell on his favorite video game:

I like playing NHL. We'd always play little tourneys and whatever we could back in the dorm room. NHL was usually our go-to game for that.
