BROSSARD - Team Red won both of Tuesday's scrimmages to wrap up a busy four days of Canadiens Development Camp.

Habs prospects faced off in a pair of 4-on-4, 25-minute games at a packed Bell Sports Complex. The roster was split for the session as follows, with goaltenders rotating duties between squads:

Here's a recap of the day's action:

Game 1

Team Red won the first game 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Jack Smith. The 2020 Draft pick beat Quentin Miller with assists from Adam Engstrom and William Trudeau for the day's first tally.

Earlier in the 25-minute contest, Petteri Nurmi drew a penalty shot for Team Red on a trip by John Parker-Jones, but the defenseman was denied by Jakub Dobes.

The ice was resurfaced during intermission and the score was reset ahead of both teams returning for a new game.

Game 2

Team White had the best chance to open the scoring in the second matchup, when Ty Smilanic was awarded a penalty shot, but saw his attempt stopped by Samuel Urban.

It was Team Red that opened the scoring again moments later, this time on a play from Rhett Pitlick to Luke Tuch. Tuch beat Dobes for the 1-0 lead.

Team White finally got on the board off the stick of Filip Mesar, who scored the equalizer unassisted opposite Emmett Croteau.

With the sides tied 1-1 through the second 25, the prospects faced off in a shootout before dropping the curtain on dev camp.

Logan Mailloux, Engstrom, Pitlick, Joshua Roy, and Xavier Simoneau were the shooters for Team Red, and Owen Beck, Mesar, Vinzenz Rohrer, David Reinbacher, and Lane Hutson had the honors for Team White.

Mailloux and Roy were the only two Habs hopefuls to find the back of the net in the tiebreaker, securing the sweep for Team Red.
