Game Preview: Devils vs. Knights

Tonight's game is the first head-to-head matchup between New Jersey and Vegas, and the start of the Devils sixth of 14 sets back-to-back contests. The Devils are 2-0-0 at Prudential Center against Pacific Division opponents, and 7-2-4 overall at home.

The Devils and Golden Knights split the 2017-18 season series 1-1-0, with both clubs' victories coming on the road. Vegas defeated New Jersey on March 4, 3-2; 10 days later the Devils defeated the Golden Knights 8-3, Vegas's second worst loss at home in their 2017-18 season.
Taylor Hall led New Jersey in points, with four (2G-2A) in the regular season series. For Vegas, Daniel Carr (1G-1A), Erik Haula (2G), and Colin Miller (1G-1A) led their squad with two points.
