The New Jersey Devils today re-signed forward Brandon Baddock and defenseman Josh Jacobs to one-year, two-way contracts. The announcement was made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.

Baddock's deal is worth $700,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL level. In his third professional season, he set career highs in games played (67), goals (3), assists (7), points (10) and penalty minutes (154). His penalty minute totaled all of the American Hockey League. Baddock has spent the past two seasons in Binghamton, has been New Jersey's sixth-round selection and 161st overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
Jacobs' deal is worth $700,000 at the NHL level and $85,000 at the AHL level. He scored three goals and 10 assists for 13 points and 42 penalty minutes in 69 games, during his third professional season with Binghamton (AHL). Jacobs made his NHL debut on March 21, 2019, in a home game against the Boston Bruins. He was New Jersey's second-round selection, and 41st overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
