The Devils have assigned defenseman Santeri Hatakka to Utica of the American Hockey League, the club announced Monday afternoon.
Hatakka, 23, has played 12 games for the Devils this season, posting two assists and a plus-2 while averaging 14:38 minutes of ice time.
