Anaheim Ducks Women’s Beginner Hockey Camp

Join us for the first ever Anaheim Ducks Women’s Beginner Hockey Camp! This full-day event is part of the Ducks’ Women in Sports Weekend, presented by Columbia Bank. Experience a rare opportunity to learn from top coaches on NHL ice at Honda Center on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (time subject to change).

This all-day hockey camp kicks off with an intimate on-ice skills clinic led by special guest coaches alongside Anaheim Ducks and The Rinks coaching staff. Enjoy lunch, then join us for a guided tour of the Anaheim Ducks locker room on your way to the video room. There, you’ll take part in a coaches’ chalk talk to learn, review and ask questions about key hockey concepts. The day wraps up with a coached game, where you can put everything you’ve learned into action under the guidance of one of our special guest coaches!

Please read through the following important Information before registering:

  • Level
    This experience is for beginners with at least some hockey experience. You must own or supply your own gear. If you have played Tier hockey, college hockey, or any level above Tin, you should not participate. If you play at a level above Tin (i.e., Bronze, Silver, or Gold) but would still like to be involved, please reach out to Celeste Loyatho at [email protected]). Must be 18 or older to participate.

  • Goalies
    Goalies must register and pay to participate. We will have a goalie coach for the skills clinic to work with goalies specifically.

  • Availability
    This camp is limited to the first 40 players and four goalies to register to allow for appropriate ice time during the game. Once positions are full, a waitlist will be created.

Guest Coaches

Courtney Kennedy

Courtney Kennedy is two-time Olympian and ice hockey defenseman. After her playing career, Kennedy became a highly regarded coach. She spent 17 seasons on the Boston College women’s hockey staff, including several as associate head coach, helping the program reach multiple NCAA Frozen Fours and develop elite players. She has served in numerous international coaching roles, including as an assistant for U.S. Under-18 teams and the U.S. Women’s National Team. Most recently, she was named head coach of the 2026 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team and led the team to a gold medal at the 2026 World Championships.

Kacey Bellamy

Kacey Bellamy is a former U.S. Olympic ice hockey defenseman and one of the most accomplished players in women’s hockey history. A three-time Olympian, she won gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics and earned silver medals in 2010 and 2014. Bellamy also captured seven gold medals at the IIHF Women’s World Championships, making her one of the most decorated defenders in Team USA history. Known for her toughness, leadership and consistency, she later transitioned into player development and coaching roles within professional women’s hockey.
