Gearing up for the final push.
There are just two home games remaining on the schedule for the Wranglers, as they get set to host the Henderson Silver Knights for back-to-back contests at the Scotiabank Saddledome beginning Wednesday night.
With just eight games total remaining in the regular season - and first place on the line - the league-leading Wranglers (45-15-3) are heating up at the right time with a record of 8-1-0-1 in their last 10 games.

The upcoming series against the Silver Knights is an important one for the Wranglers, for a variety of reasons.
Obviously, the points are huge, as Calgary looks to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs. They continue to battle for top spot in the Pacific Division with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, who currently sit four points back with two games in hand.
Confidence is another factor. While the Silver Knights did help the Wranglers out with a win against the Firebirds on the weekend, they have given the Wranglers fits all season long, with five wins in six games against Calgary so far. To pick up a couple of W's against this team in particular would not only help in the standings, but would be a big confidence boost for the group.
Wranglers forward Matthew Phillips knows the importance of the next two games against the 'Knights.
"It's going to be a challenge," expressed Phillips. "They seem to beat us almost every time we play them and we're fighting for first place here, so we need to get our rest… those are two big games."

SKY'S THE LIMIT FOR WOLF:

Dustin Wolf has been the backbone of the Wranglers' success all season long and the 21-year-old just keeps getting better and better … and better. He has picked up wins in seven-straight starts, including three shutouts in his last five appearances.
Wolf currently leads the league in Wins (38), Shutouts (7), GAA (2.12), Sv% (0.931), Games (50) and minutes-played (2941:22).
As usual, Wolf gave credit to his teammates for the stellar results between the pipes this season.
"I just try to look at how many wins our team is getting and, at the end of the day, if we're getting wins my individual success is going to come," Wolf explained. "Obviously our team has been outstanding in front of me so it makes my life pretty easy, so just try to keep it simple and get better everyday."
Wolf recently celebrated his 100th career AHL game on March 26 against San Diego.

QUOTABLES:

Wolf on his 100th career game milestone:
"A hundred is a lot of games… I've played a lot this year and it's been fun. Fun first hundred games as a pro and definitely looking forward to the next hundred."
Phillips spoke about Wolf and his contributions this season:
"It's crazy how often he plays and how consistent he is - he's amazing and we're lucky to have him on our team."
"He's just very focused, he's very detail oriented. His preparation often starts in the morning of a game day. You can just tell that he knows exactly what he's doing. He's got a process and it works."
Head coach Mitch Love on approach down the stretch:
"We feel right now that these are playoff games for us. We want to win the division and get a first round bye."
