Sam Reinhart scored the winning goal with 4:14 to play as the Buffalo Sabres overcame an Islander rally from a 3-0 deficit and defeated the Isles 4-3 before a crowd of 16,872 at KeyBank Center.
Anders Lee had tied the game just 73 seconds before Reinhart's winning tally with his 28th goal of the season. Lee's goal re-tied John Tavares for the team scoring lead; Tavares had scored his 28th goal in the second period.
