My mom is really special to me. She is how I discovered my love for hockey. As soon as she taught me to skate, I knew I wanted to play hockey and wasn't afraid to ask her because I knew that she would support me no matter what I wanted to do. She always encourages me to play my heart out and do what makes me happy on and off the ice! One example is how she is always at my games and practices to support me. She has coached my team from Mites all the way to Peewee. She volunteers at Learn to Skate and even coached the year she had cancer. My mom also plays on a team of her own called the Mother Puckers! She has always been there for me and we will always share a love for hockey together that I cannot explain.

What can I say about my wife. Besides working a full-time job, I can always count on her for being there for the boys. She is always there to bring the boys to practices and games and she is their #1 fan. She is loudest at every game cheering them on. She's always willing to volunteer and help in any way she can. When she is home with the boys, she picks up a hockey stick and plays with them. If it wasn't for my wife, I don't know how the boys would be able to participate in sports. Especially hockey that they love the most.
