Thank you to our fans, partners and staff who joined the LA Kings in celebrating and protecting our
natural world this Earth Month!

LA Kings Sports Gear Drives, Presented by Play It Again Sports, a Winmark Brand

Throughout Earth Month, the LA Kings hosted four drives, presented to Play It Again Sports, a Winmark
Brand, to collect donations of used sporting goods equipment in Pasadena, Panorama City, El Segundo
and Simi Valley. In total, approximately 400 pounds of used gear was donated!

LA Kings Green Game

On April 8th, the LA Kings hosted their annual Green Game against the Colorado Avalanche with a wide range of activations.

Youth eco leader from Grades of Green, Emma Cardoza, participated in the ceremonial puck drop.
Grades of Green educates, empowers and inspires students to take action and achieve long lasting
environment impact in their schools and communities.

Emma also sat down with Bally Sports to discuss her environmental efforts at her school, including a
successful campaign to end the use of single-use plastic water bottles.

In addition, Kings Care Foundation raised over $13,000 from the auction featuring all previously worn
player gear and merchandise.

Prior to the game, the LA Kings encouraged fans to take public transportation to the arena, as well as
donate used sports gear to collection tables at entrances to the arena.

Beach Clean Up

On April 6th, the LA Kings and the Anaheim Ducks hosted the Freeway Faceoff Beach Clean Up with
Ryan's Recycling. Each team brought out about 75 volunteers each to clean up Granada Beach in Long
Beach. In the end, the two teams collected over 565 pounds of trash and 20 pounds of recyclables!
