The panelists shared their paths to where they are today, the value of mentorship, advice for the next generation of women in sports, and much more! In fact, Blake Bolden started her girls mentorship program, emBolden her, earlier this month, which serves 13-16 year old girls looking to learn how to be bold!
Pre-game, players donned warm-up jerseys that were made available to the public via auction, ultimately raising nearly $20K for the
Kings Care Foundation.
These jersey highlighted three girls youth hockey programs dedicated to growing the game and empowering young girls: the LA Lions, Power Project and The Empowerment Effect.
Leaders and athletes from each organization were also recognized in the arena during the 2nd intermission for their commitment to supporting girls across Los Angeles.
