The Bolts and Blue Jackets resume their First Round series on Friday night in Game 2.
First period goals from Alex Killorn, Anthony Cirelli and Yanni Gourde helped the Bolts build a 3-0 lead in Game 1 but Columbus responded with four unanswered goals to close out the game and take a 1-0 series lead.
