Perry-Injury

Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry is week to week with a lower-body injury sustained in a 3-2 win against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
Coach Randy Carlyle said the Ducks will have a better timeline for Perry next week.

Perry left the game against the Hurricanes at 13:14 of the first period after his knee struck Hurricanes forward Jeff Skinner's leg in a collision in the Carolina zone. Perry was face down on the ice before limping to the bench with the help of trainers.

Perry's injury is the latest for the Ducks (13-11-7), who are in fifth place in the Pacific Division, 10 points behind the Los Angeles Kings (20-8-3). Anaheim is also missing forwards Ryan Kesler (hip), Patrick Eaves (Guillain-Barre syndrome), Nick Ritchie (upper body) and Joseph Blandisi (upper body). Forward Jakob Silfverberg played against Carolina after missing five games with an upper-body injury.
The Ducks play the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center on Thursday (8 p.m. ET; FS-MW, PRIME, NHL.TV).
Perry leads the Ducks with 22 points (six goals, 16 assists). He led the NHL with 50 goals in 2010-11 and has 739 points (355 goals, 384 assists) in 13 seasons with Anaheim.
Forward Kevin Roy was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League.
