Philipp Grubauer Minnesota Wild save preseason 2018 September 22

NEWARK, N.J.--After missing the end of the preseason and the beginning of the main campaign with a leg injury, Sven Andrighetto is in the Colorado Avalanche's lineup tonight at the New Jersey Devils.
Colorado head coach Jared Bednar confirmed after the club's morning skate at Prudential Center that Andrighetto will make his season debut and replace rookie Sheldon Dries on a line with Vladislav Kamenev and Gabriel Bourque.

"It's been a while for me to suit up," Andrighetto said. "Just watching the games from the stands, it was hurting a little bit. Obviously, I want to be out there with the team and help them win games. Even more excited right now to be able to be a part of it."
Andrighetto skated in 50 games during the 2017-18 season and had 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists), a career high for the native of Zurich, Switzerland.
The only other change in the Avs' lineup will be in goal, as Philipp Grubauer will be between the pipes instead of Semyon Varlamov.
It will be the second start this season for the German netminder, who made 30-of-34 saves in a 5-2 loss at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 9.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
