Player Spotlight: Tyson Barrie

Barrie enters Tuesday's contest on a six-game point streak (4g, 5a), tying a career-long streak he set earlier this season (Oct. 11-24). He's registered 15 points (5g, 10a) in his last 10 contests, leading all NHL defensemen in scoring since Feb. 20. Barrie notched his 10th goal of the season Saturday against Arizona and with 57 career markers, now ranks fourth on the franchise's all-time list for goals by a defenseman (Adam Foote, 56).

Quotable

"It's huge, right now in the standings, it is going to be a key game for us to come hard and win that game. Just play simple, just do your thing, just work hard and be patient and the goals are going to come. It's a playoff run, so every time we play, we need to win. We need to be focused and go get the most points we can."
-Avalanche forward Gabriel Bourque following Monday's practice at Family Sports Center, on the upcoming game against the Minnesota Wild
