Kevin meets his hockey hero

When he returned to his hometown with the Stanley Cup, St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington was given a hero's welcome.
And a birthday card.

A young St. Louis Blues fan named Kevin made the card for his favorite player, Binnington, who turned 26 years old on Thursday.
On Friday, Kevin showed up to the festivities in Richmond Hill, Ontario hoping someone would get the card to Binnington, but was surprised with the chance to hand deliver it.

In a video shared by the Blues, Kevin gave his idol the card which had a warm message that Binnington read aloud for the crowd.
In the message, Kevin wrote that Binnington "deserved the Conn Smythe, but so did [Ryan] O'Reilly" and hoped that he stay with the Blues long term.
Kevin also wrote that Binnington lifting the Cup was the "best moment ever."
After this meeting, the young fan may have to update his personal list for best moments ever.
