The legends came out to congratulate a legend.
Bob Miller, long time broadcaster for the Los Angeles Kings, was honored with a statue of his likeness outside of Staples Center Saturday. Miller, who started in 1973 as Kings play-by-play man before retiring after last season, heard from his fellow statue honorees. The Great One, Wayne Gretzky, paid his respects to Miller.
Magic Johnson, the Basketball Hall of Famer who spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers, had some high praise for Miller.

The Kings also raised a banner, featuring Miller's name and a microphone, to the Staples Center rafters. He is the seventh person to get a banner from the Kings.
