LAS VEGAS - Now you can officially start the countdown.
The Bruins found out where they'll start the 2018-19 season on Wednesday afternoon when the National Hockey League announced the home openers for all 31 teams.

Boston will begin its season on Wednesday, Oct. 3 with a visit to the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals, before traveling to Buffalo for a tilt with the Sabres the following night.
The B's home opener is set for Monday, Oct. 8 against the Ottawa Senators, which is also the annual Columbus Day matinee (1 p.m. EST) at TD Garden.
The Bruins will be part of one other home opener when they travel to Edmonton on Thursday, Oct. 18. The only other part of the team's schedule to be made public is the 2019 Winter Classic against the Chicago Blackhawks on Jan. 1 at Notre Dame Stadium.
The full schedule will be revealed on Thursday evening. Single game tickets for all games will go on sale Friday at 2 p.m. EST.
