COLUMBUS-- Sergei Bobrovsky didn't get his fourth straight shutout, but Boone Jenner scored with 5:07 left to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 4-3 win against the Buffalo Sabres at Nationwide Arena on Friday.
The Blues Jackets (43-17-6), who have won three straight, tied a Columbus record for wins in a season set in 2013-14. They also tied their home wins record of 25 set in 2008-09.
Bobrovsky, who made 29 saves, had his shutout streak end at 182:50 when Evan Rodrigues scored 2:50 into the first period to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead.

The Sabres (27-29-12) have lost four straight. Josh Gorges and Rasmus Ristolainen scored, and Robin Lehner made 35 saves. Jack Eichel's 11-game point streak ended.
The Sabres tied it 3-3 on Ristolainen's fifth goal at 5:57 of the third when his shot was deflected and went off Bobrovsky and trickled in.
Nick Foligno, David Savard and Sam Gagner scored for Columbus, which took a 3-2 lead when Gagner scored his his third goal in four games after a 30-game drought, at 18:28 of the second.
"It feels good," Gagner said. "I know can contribute in that way."
The Sabres tied it 2-2 at 4:56 of the second period on Gorges' shot from the left point. It was his first goal in 78 games dating to Feb. 12, 2016.

Goal of the game

Jenner scored on a backhand move at the crease for his 14th goal after the Sabres won the faceoff. The puck came off the stick of Buffalo defenseman Cody Franson to Cam Atkinson, who got a pass to Jenner.
"I tried to outwait [Lehner], get the puck over as far as I can, then try to beat his pad," Jenner said.

Lehner made a save on Jenner on a shorthanded breakaway at 7:35 of the second period.

Unsung performance of the game

Alex Wennberg lunged to keep the puck in the zone during the first Columbus power play. Seconds later, his shot was tipped by Foligno to make it 2-1 at 17:05 of the first period.

Highlight of the game

Gagner's goal from the right circle during a power play was aided by being tipped off a Buffalo stick that sent the puck into the top of the net.

Sabres forward Kyle Okposo (ribs) missed his fourth game and defenseman Dmitry Kulikov (upper body) missed his third in a row. … Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski got the secondary assist on Foligno's 23rd goal to set a Columbus record for most points by a rookie with 40 (nine goals, 31 assists). Forward Rick Nash had 39 points (17 goals, 22 assists) in 2002-03. … Bobrovsky was 16:38 shy of tying Steve Mason's Columbus record of 199:28 without allowing a goal set in 2008. … The Blue Jackets scored more than one power-play goal for the first time in 20 games dating to Jan. 22. ...
