Themed road trips are nothing new, but the Jets took their latest to unsightly new levels with an ugly suit affair in St. Louis. The Jets hadn't played a road game since Jan. 25 in Anaheim, so this time, they went all out.

This was all the idea of Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien, whose head-to-toe lavender ensemble made him look like a walking, giant scented candle.
Byfuglien's outfit was pretty tame, however, compared to some of the worst offenders.
Defenseman Tyler Myers gave us a glimpse of the disaster than ensues when a 6-foot-8 guy tries to buy a suit off the rack.
And how bad was forward Mathieu Perreault's garb? Let us count the ways. Rather, let's count the pleats on his pants and the extra inches of fabric on his pant legs that made trouser breaks so large, you could hide inside them. Not to mention the way oversized suit jacket and matching trucker hat, and, oh no, is that a fanny pack?
Forward Patrik Laine went heavy on the team spirit with his Jets shirt, jacket and tie, and forward Andrew Copp channeled his inner gumball machine.
Well the effort was certainly there. And after picking up a 4-0 win against the Blues, maybe we'll see more of the Jets and their fashion backward ways.
