Philipp Grubauer spent a day with Das Cup.

The Colorado Avalanche goalie, part of the 2018 Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals, sported lederhosen and hoisted the Greatest Trophy in All of Sports for an adoring crowd in Germany on Monday.

Grubauer is from Rosenheim, in the Bavaria region of Southeast Germany, and he wore his regional attire during a Cup celebration in his hometown.
He then took the Cup to Emilio Stadion, the home of the Rosenheim Star Bulls hockey team who Grubauer played for before he came to North America in 2008.
Later, Grubauer posed for a picture with one arm around the Cup and the other around his father.
