Breaking down Kucherov's big night vs. Red Wings

The NHL-leading Tampa Bay Lightning equaled their single-season record for victories and became the fourth team in League history to win at least 54 games in consecutive seasons when they rallied from three goals down
to defeat the Detroit Red Wings 5-4
at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday.

The Lightning (54-13-4) were losing 3-0 after Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader scored 3:43 into the second period. But Tampa Bay scored five unanswered goals on the way to matching its single-season record of 54 victories, set in 2017-18.
Tampa Bay joined the Montreal Canadiens (1975-76, 1976-77, 1977-78), Boston Bruins (1970-71, 1971-72) and Washington Capitals (2015-16, 2016-17) as the only NHL teams to win at least 54 games in consecutive seasons. The Lightning have 11 games remaining; they are eight wins from matching the NHL single-season record of 62 victories set by the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings.
Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov fueled the comeback with two goals, including the eventual game-winner, and two assists. He leads the NHL with 115 points (35 goals, 80 assists).

Bishop sets Stars shutout streak record before leaving with injury

Dallas Stars goalie Ben Bishop made seven saves and extended his NHL career-long shutout streak to 230:53 before leaving
a 4-1 win
against the Minnesota Wild at 6:33 of the second period because of a lower-body injury. It's the longest shutout streak in Stars/Minnesota North Stars history, surpassing the previous mark of 219:26 set by Ed Belfour from Nov. 15-29, 2000.
Rookie forward Roope Hintz scored his second straight game-winning goal for the Stars (37-28-5), who are 6-1-0 in their past seven games and moved past the St. Louis Blues (36-27-7) into third place in the Central Division. Hintz can become the third rookie in NHL history to score the winning goal in three consecutive games when the Stars play the Vegas Golden Knights at American Airlines Center on Friday (8 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN360, SNE, SNO, FS-SW, ATTSN-RM, NHL.TV); he would join Patrik Elias of the New Jersey Devils (Oct. 27-Nov. 1, 1997) and Andrew Cogliano of the Edmonton Oilers (March 7-11, 2008).
