The NHL was represented with style in the
Sports Illustrated "Fashionable 50"
athletes for 2019.

Four players were selected for the long-running magazine's fourth annual list, led by New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban, who was named to the "Icons" section of the list.
Subban appeared on SI's red carpet on Thursday alongside his girlfriend, retired Olympic skiier Lindsey Vonn, who was named a "Trendsetter" on the list.

In an interview with the magazine, Subban said the one accessory he could not live without was an engraved Rolex watch given to him by Vonn.
"I would say it's my only prized possession, the only thing I can't lose," Subban told the magazine. "It's customized. I'll tell you exactly what it is, because it'll embarrass her: On the inside it says LOVE YOU ALWAYS. There's a heart in there too."
New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist and San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane were named to the "Classics" section of the Fashionable 50.
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews was noted in the "Rising Stars" section.
