Connor Hellebuyck will get the start in goal, marking the first time a Jets netminder has played on back-to-back nights all season. Michael Hutchinson will back up. Steve Mason, who was not "feeling well" following Friday's morning skate (prompting Hutchinson's emergency recall from the Manitoba Moose), has been sent back to Winnipeg for further evaluation.

Rare Regulation Loss
The Jets lost in regulation for the just the 12th time this season last night against the Blackhawks...It was Winnipeg's first regulation loss since Dec. 23 at NYI...The Jets had earned a point in seven straight games (6-0-1) prior to last night...Winnipeg is 7-3-1 in games following a regulation loss this season and haven't lost back-to-back games in regulation since Dec. 14 vs CHI and Dec. 16 at STL.
Against the Central
The Central Division-leading Jets are 7-4-2 against their Central Division foes this season and 26-12-4 dating back to last season...However, the Jets are 2-3-1 in their last six games against the Central.
Back-to-Back

Patrik Laine scored his team-leading 20th goal of the season in last night's loss to Chicago, pushing him one goal ahead of Nikolaj Ehlers...He's only the third European-born NHL player and second player in franchise history to score 20 goals or more in multiple seasons as a teenager, joining Ilya Kovalchuk (Atlanta Thrashers - 2001-03) and Jaromir Jagr (Pittsburgh Penguins - 1990- 92)...Among those players in the NHL to have multiple 20-goal seasons as a teenager is Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame member Dale Hawerchuk, who did so with Jets 1.0 from 1981-83...Laine has 20 goals in 45 games this season, while he scored his 20th goal in his 41st games last season...Laine is the 10th player to reach 20 goals in the NHL this season.
Central Attack
Blake Wheeler is second in the NHL against Central Division opponents with 17 points (5G, 12A) in 12 games...Patrik Laine has scored six goals in 12 games against Central Division teams, including an NHL-best four goals in the power play.
Seeing Stars
Jets forward Blake Wheeler and goaltender Connor Hellebuyck have been selected to participate in the 2018 NHL All-Star Game as members of the Central Division squad...Wheeler is tied for second in the league in points (52) and assists (38) and he is the only NHLer with three games of four points or more in 2017-18..Hellebuyck is third in the league in wins (23) and tied for fourth in shutouts (3)...Among goaltenders with a minimum of 15 games played, he ranks second in winning percentage (.788), seventh in goals-against average (2.36) and 10th in save percentage (.923)...Wheeler and Hellebuyck are both making their first all-star appearance.
Seeing More Stars
The Jets have two of the three members of the Manitoba Moose selected to the Central Division team for the 2018 AHL All-Star Game on their roster in forward Jack Roslovic and goaltender Michael Hutchinson...Roslovic has played in three games since being recalled after Mark Scheifele was injured Dec. 27 vs. EDM, while Hutchinson was recalled yesterday on an emergency basis.
