NEW YORK -- Philadelphia Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth sustained a lower-body injury in the first period and didn't return for the second against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Lyon had a 3.93 goals-against average and .860 save percentage in three games (two starts) before replacing Neuvirth. He made 25 saves on 26 shots in a 7-4 victory against the Rangers for his first NHL win.
