Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel are magicians on the ice, but after Tuesday they have an extra trick up their sleeves off the ice.

The Pittsburgh Penguins were treated to the inside info about card tricks from a local magician as part of their inaugural Night of Assists carnival at PPG Paints Arena.
Pittsburgh-area magician Lee Terbosic was on hand to teach the Penguins the magic with cards, and perhaps unsurprisingly Malkin and Kessel were the stars of the show. Terbosic told Malkin to pick a card and write his name on it, and the Penguins center wrote "Fill" on the 10 of diamonds, in an attempt to pose as Kessel.

The Penguins dressed to the nines, complete with top hats with literal feathers in them, to participate in the charity event, which benefited the Penguins Foundation's youth initiatives and special-needs programs.

Pittsburgh also posed for its annual selfie, with defenseman Kris Letang playing the role of photographer.
