Vegas is 7-1-0 in its past eight games after defeating the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 on Thursday and has outscored its opponents 33-16 during that span.
Los Angeles lost 6-3 to the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, its fourth loss in its past five games (1-4-0). The Kings, who are last in the NHL at 2.10 goals per game, have scored more than two goals twice in their past eight games.
This is the first game between the teams since Vegas completed a four-game sweep against Los Angeles in the 2018 Western Conference First Round.
