Nashville, Tenn. (March 8, 2024) – Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz announced today that the team has acquired forward Wade Allison from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for forward Denis Gurianov.

Allison, 26 (10/14/97), has 10 goals and 17 points in 46 games for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2023-24. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward made his NHL debut on April 15, 2021 at Pittsburgh and has gone on to skate in 75 NHL games, all with Philadelphia. He played the entire 2022-23 season for the Flyers, recording 15 points (9g-6a) in 60 contests.

Originally drafted by Philadelphia in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft, Allison’s AHL tenure has seen him post 43 points (24g-19a) in 84 games with Lehigh Valley, including 17 points (10g-7a) in 28 appearances during the 2021-22 campaign. Prior to turning pro, Allison spent four years at Western Michigan University from 2016-20, serving as an alternate captain during his final two seasons. He recorded 97 points (45g-52a) in 106 games for the Broncos and was an honorable mention for the NCHC’s All-Star Team in 2017-18, his sophomore season. The Carman, Man., native also won the USHL’s Clark Cup and was the postseason MVP with Tri-City in 2015-16.
