Peyton Krebs, Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner each scored a pair of goals to lift the Buffalo Sabres to a 6-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday at KeyBank Center.
Krebs' goals were the first of his NHL career.
Thompson's two power-play goals put Buffalo in the lead late in the first period and they held on from there.
Skinner tied a career-high with three points and now has 10 points (7+3) in his last nine games.
With a pair of assists, Alex Tuch has 10 points (3+7) in nine games since joining the Sabres, including a point in each of his last four contests (2+4).
Michael Houser was steady in net for Buffalo, turning aside 30 of the 33 shots he faced.
Rasmus Ristolainen and Claude Giroux - with two goals - scored for the Flyers. Martin Jones stopped just four of eight shots before being replaced by Carter Hart during the first period. Hart finished with 14 saves.
The victory marked Buffalo's first win on home ice since November 26.
Buffalo's power play was 3-for-4, and the penalty kill went 4-for-5.

PHI@BUF: Skinner nets Tuch feed to open scoring early

The Sabres got on the board 1:29 into the game. Skinner was the beneficiary of a great forechecking effort by Dylan Cozens and Alex Tuch. Cozens won the puck back and Tuch found Skinner in front for a one-timer.
Cozens has four points (2+2) in his last three games.
With 8:42 left, Ristolainen, in his return to Buffalo, beat Houser with a wrist shot to tie things up.
The Flyers took the lead with 7:16 remaining with Giroux's shot, but the Sabres then found their way back into the game.

With 4:27 left, Thompson scored on the power play, one-timing a feed from Tuch (who one-touched a pass from Skinner in the corner) to beat Jones.
The Flyers challenged that the Sabres had entered the zone offside. The ruling on the ice was upheld, putting Buffalo back on the power play.

Twenty-four seconds later, Thompson struck again for his 14th goal of the season.

With 2:00 left in the period, Buffalo went up 4-2 thanks to the first goal of Krebs' NHL career. He redirected in a shot by Henri Jokiharju, who now has four points over his past four games.
At that point, Hart replaced Jones in net.
Buffalo outshot the Flyers 10-9 in that opening period.

Thanks to a terrific breakout pass from Rasmus Asplund, Krebs exited the penalty box and skated in a breakaway 2:24 into the third period and lifted a backhand in to make it 5-2.

Skinner potted his second of the night on the power play 4:36 into the third.
With 5:11 left in regulation, Giroux redirected in a point shot to put the Flyers within three, but Buffalo held off any potential rally.

Some injury updates from coach Don Granato's pregame media availability:
-Vinnie Hinostroza, who was injured during Monday's game, has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
-Rookie Jack Quinn, who sustained a lower-body injury on Thursday, will be out at least four to six weeks with a lower-body injury and will then be re-evaluated. Quinn scored the first goal of jos
-Will Butcher is day-to-day with a rib injury and did not play Saturday.
-Brett Murray was recalled from the taxi squad and appeared in his 19th NHL game of the season.
