Colin Miller will miss the remainder of the IIHF World Championship with an upper-body injury, Hockey Canada announced Friday.
Miller, who was selected as an alternate captain for Canada, tallied one assist in four games. The Sabres have five players remaining in the tournament: Arttu Ruotsalainen (Finland), Victor Olofsson (Sweden), J-J Peterka (Germany), Tobias Rieder (Germany), and Tage Thompson (United States).
Thompson has missed Team USA's past two games with an upper-body injury but is considered day-to-day. Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams is a member of Team USA's advisory board for the tournament.
