J-J Peterka has been selected to Germany's preliminary roster for the IIHF World Junior Championship. The tournament is scheduled to begin Saturday, Dec. 26 inside a competition bubble in Edmonton.
Buffalo traded up to select Peterka with the 34th pick of the NHL Draft in October. The 18-year-old tallied six points (3+3) in seven games this season with EC Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League before the league suspended its campaign in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
