The Buffalo Sabres have loaned forward Brett Murray to the Rochester Americans, the team announced Sunday.
Murray, 24, was recalled Saturday and joined the Sabres for their trip to Pittsburgh but did not play against the Penguins. He is tied for the Amerks' lead with nine goals this season and ranks third on the team with 19 points. Rochester's next game is Friday night in Charlotte, the first of a back-to-back set against the Checkers.
