This edition of Sabres.com's Prospects Pipeline checks in on Devon Levi, as well as Matt Savoie, Noah Ostlund, and Oliver Nadeau.
Devon Levi is picking up right where he left off of last season.
Still a foundational pillar for his team, the Northeastern University goaltender is once again protecting the net at a high level, posting a .920 save percentage and a 2.55 goals-against average through 21 games. He's also racked up three shutouts.

Last season, he won the Mike Richter Award as the best goaltender in college hockey and was a Top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker. Levi has continued to be a large part of Northeastern's success this year. The Huskies are currently 10-9-3 on the year, but have improved their play as of late, due in large part to the contributions of their netminder.

"This year there's been a lot of adversity which has been great," Levi said. "It's really good to be able to face the challenge and know that you're getting better. It's been a great season and the adversity is making us better. It's why I came back to play college hockey, to experience the highs and the lows."

Levi has stayed true to his personal development throughout the process of his growth. Back at Sabres development camp this past summer, Levi explained his mindset as he continues to blossom as a player.
"It's work for me. I just like to focus on my development and on getting better every day. I've never really chased the highest level, I've just let it come," he said. "When the time's right, it'll come, and I'm just waiting for that."
Levi, who turned 21 on December 27, understands how important it is to have a short memory as a goalie, especially in a season filled with highs and lows.
"Some games won't go your way, it's just bound to happen, no matter who you are," Levi said. "You gotta know that you can't be perfect every night, and you just gotta bounce back. It's what it is and I love doing it and there's nothing else I'd rather be doing, so the challenge is one that I love."
The Huskies have been led by their 2022 Hobey Baker nominee all season long, and it is a role that Levi relishes.
"I'm motivated by wanting to be the best," Levi said. "It's just so fun to compete with guys that are really good, really talented and going up against them. When a guy comes down and tries to score, just taking their hope away, it's a great feeling. Knowing that they're playing well but I'm playing better. That's my favorite part."

On Monday, Levi was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week for the second time this season. He tallied 30 saves in a 4-3 win on Saturday to help the Huskies beat No. 11 UConn for the second weekend in a row.
Against his conference this year, Levi is 8-3-2 with a. 944 save percentage and a .944 goals-against average.

Savoie riding 7-game point streak

Center Matt Savoie, the 9th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, has had an impressive regular season with the Winnipeg ICE of the WHL. Savoie is fourth on the team with 45 points (17+28) through 32 games.
He has 13 points (5+8) during his current seven-game point streak. He posted four points (2+2) in a 6-3 win over Portland on January 8.

Savoie will look to continue his strong season with the Eastern Conference-leading ICE, who are 30-5-1 on the season.

Ostlund impressing with Sweden and Djurgardens IF

Noah Ostlund, who was selected 16th overall this past summer, has not missed a step since returning to his Swedish club following a World Junior Championship appearance.
Over the weekend, he recorded a pair of goals for Djurgardens IF.

The 18-year-old forward currently has 14 points (4+10) in 21 games this year.
Djurgardens IF will host IF Brommapojkarna for their next game on January 28.

Nadeau more than fine after recovering from injury

Despite having his season debut delayed by shoulder surgery, Oliver Nadeau is back and playing at a very high level. He's recorded 11 points in the nine games since he returned to the Gatineau Olympiques roster on December 28.

Drafted in the 4th round (97th overall) of the 2022 draft, Nadeau has been a bright spot for Gatineau Olympiques his entire tenure there.

The Gatineau Olympiques are currently 26-11-4 on the season.
