The Buffalo Sabres recalled forward Rasmus Asplund and defenseman Jacob Bryson from the taxi squad prior to their game against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday.
Defenseman Brandon Davidson was reassigned from the active roster to the taxi squad. Goaltender Dustin Tokarski was also reassigned to the taxi squad from the Rochester Americans.

The moves could line up Bryson for his NHL debut as one of six healthy defensemen currently on the active roster. The Sabres announced Tuesday that Will Borgen is expected to miss six to eight weeks to repair a fracture in his right forearm.
Sabres coach Ralph Krueger is expected to give pregame updates around 5:30 p.m.
Bryson, 23, was selected by the Sabres during the fourth round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He played three NCAA seasons at Providence College, serving as co-captain as a junior before beginning his pro career last season with Rochester. He's tallied 30 points (4+46) in 66 career AHL games.
Asplund has appeared in two games for the Sabres this season, most recently at home against the Islanders on Feb. 16.
The Sabres lost Tobias Rieder to an injury during the first period of their game on Monday, though no update has been issued on his status.
