The Buffalo Sabres have recalled goaltender Eric Comrie from the Rochester Americans and loaned goaltender Devon Levi to Rochester, the team announced Sunday.
Comrie has recorded a .934 save percentage and 3-1-0 record in four starts since being assigned to Rochester, stopping 128 of 137 shots, including 32 saves in a 6-0 shutout victory over Lehigh Valley on Jan. 17.
Levi was loaned to Rochester on Jan. 20 and made 14 saves in the Amerks' 7-3 win over the Springfield Thunderbirds while Comrie backed up Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen during the Sabres' 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Levi was then recalled to Buffalo as Comrie was reassigned to Rochester on Jan. 21.
The Sabres are now on a bye week and the All-Star break and will return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 6 when they host the Dallas Stars at KeyBank Center.
The Amerks play Wednesday at home against Syracuse at 7:05 p.m.
