The Sabres have added forward Riley Sheahan to their training camp roster on a professional tryout, the team announced Tuesday.
Sheahan, 29, spent last season with the Edmonton Oilers, tallying 15 points (8+7) in 66 contests. The addition of Sheahan brings Buffalo's camp roster to 33 skaters and five goaltenders. NHL teams are permitted to carry a 23-man roster with a taxi squad of four to six players during the regular season. A breakdown of the roster in its entirety can be found here.
