Vegas scored 1:31 into the second period on a power play that carried over from the end of the first for their third goal of the game. Jonathan Marchessault connected on a cross-ice feed from Nicolas Roy for his 20th of the season.
The Golden Knights went up 4-0 thanks to a shorthanded goal by Kolesar at the 4:27 mark of the second.
