The Sharks are back on the road for a quick two game Pacific Division swing over Thanksgiving, starting off in Glendale, Arizona to play the Arizona Coyotes. This is the first time the two clubs meet this season.
While the Desert Dogs are buried at the bottom of the NHL's standings, they have turned it around lately; they've rattled off three straight wins against Eastern Canada opponents. Meanwhile, the Sharks are mired in a slump with three straight losses; although the latest only came after a nine round shootout.
Joonas Donskoi has been a bright spot for the Sharks, scoring an unofficial hat trick on Monday (two goals and a shootout tally) while earning praise from Coach DeBoer. The Sharks hope he continues his strong play, along with contributions from other players, to help get the team back in the win column against the Desert Dogs.
