2023-24 Community Drives

Women's Clothing Drive

The Minnesota Wild will be hosting a women’s clothing drive benefitting Dress for Success Twin Cities on Saturday, March 30 when it hosts the Vegas Golden Knights at 2:30 p.m. CT at Xcel Energy Center. New or gently used clothing will be collected at Gates 1-5 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Accepted Items

  • Business professional suits
  • Professional separates including blouses, slacks, skirts, dresses, blazers, sweaters, and jackets
  • Casual separates including shirts, jeans, dresses, sweaters, and coats
  • Professional shoes (flats, heels, boots)
  • Scarves
  • Handbags
  • Jewelry
  • Scrubs
  • Professional maternity apparel
  • Non-slip footwear
  • Hats, gloves, and winter jackets (in winter months)

Non-Accepted Items:

  • Any items that are stained, torn or in ill repair
  • Athletic wear or lounge wear
  • Men's clothing

Book Drive

A book drive will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 when the Wild hosts the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center. There will be collection bins for books and monetary donations at all gates from 5:45 p.m. through the start of first period.

All donations will benefit the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center.

Pet Supply Drive

The Minnesota Wild, along with CUB, will host a pet supply drive on Monday, January 15 at Xcel Energy Center when the Wild hosts the New York Islanders at 5:00 p.m.

Fans attending the Wild game on January 15 are encouraged to bring various types of pet supplies to donate, such as leashes, collars, toys, treats and food. All Xcel Energy Center gates will have collection boxes for fans to leave their donated items or monetary donations. 

Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue, located in Somerset, WI, will be the beneficiary of all donations made during the pet supply drive.

Toy Drive

A toy drive will be held for The Salvation Army on Sunday, Dec. 3 when the Minnesota Wild hosts the Chicago Blackhawks at 1:00 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 16 against the Vancouver Canucks at 1:00 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.

New, unwrapped toys, games and cash donations will be collected at Gates 1-5 from 11:15 a.m. until midway through the first period on both dates. The Salvation Army will distribute all collected gifts to the families they serve in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Winter Coat Drive

The Minnesota Wild announced a winter coat drive will be held for The American Indian Family Center (AIFC) on Friday, Nov. 24 when it hosts the Colorado Avalanche at 7:30 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center. New or gently used winter coats will be collected at Gates 1-5 from 5:15 p.m. until midway through the first period

School Supply Drive

The Minnesota Wild and the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities are hosting a school supply drive on Saturday, October 21 when the Wild faces the Columbus Blue Jackets at Xcel Energy Center at 7:00 p.m. Fans wishing to make a monetary donation can access a donation link below. A QR code will also be available at the rink on the day of the game.

Equipment Drive

Presented by Toyota

The Minnesota Wild, Let's Play Hockey and Minnesota Hockey partnered for the annual Used Hockey Equipment Drive presented by Toyota. Two Men and a Truck placed drop-off boxes at select arenas starting Monday, Aug. 21 and collected the drop-off boxes on October 2.
