Prospects Report: October 20, 2021

The Iowa Wild opened its 2021-22 regular season with a 1-1-0 split against the Texas Stars. The Wild earned a 2-0 shutout victory against the Stars on Friday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park (10/15). Forward Connor Dewar led Iowa with two points (1-1=2) and forward Kyle Rau also scored. Goaltender Andrew Hammond stopped all 27 shots faced.

Iowa fell 3-1 at the Stars on Saturday in Texas (10/16). Forward Marco Rossi scored his first professional goal with assists from defensemen Calen Addison and Joe Hicketts. Goaltender Dereck Baribeau made 28 saves.
Iowa hosts Rockford this weekend (10/22-23).
