Iowa opened its three-game set last week on Wednesday, Feb. 28, when it played at Grand Rapids in the first of two games against the Griffins.

Iowa fell in game one, 3-2 in overtime. Adam Raska and Caedan Bankier were the goal scorers for Iowa, and Jesper Wallstedt stopped 35-of-38 shots faced in regulation and overtime.

The two teams met again on Friday, Mar. 1 where Iowa fell, 4-3. Kevin Conley, Michael Milne and Daemon Hunt were the goal scorers for Iowa, with Wallstedt stopping 19-of-23 shots faced.

Iowa closed out the week by getting back into the win column with a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday, Mar. 3. Steven Fogarty found the back of the net twice, while Simon Johansson and Adam Beckman also scored for Iowa. Wallstedt stopped 22-of-23 shots faced in his third appearance of the week.

Through 54 games, Nic Petan leads all Iowa skaters with 40 points (12-28=40). Sammy Walker owns 33 points (10-23=33) and Beckman has 29 points (16-13=29).

Wallstedt is 16-15-1 with a 2.81 GAA, a .906 SV% and two shutouts in 33 games. Zane McIntyre is 3-12-3 with a 3.50 GAA and a .880 SV% in 20 games.

Iowa will play host to the Manitoba Moose on Saturday, Mar. 9 at 6:00 p.m., then again on Sunday, Mar. 10 at 3:00 p.m.
