The St. Louis Blues are losing another player to injury - this time it's Dillon Dube after he sustained a neck injury in Thursday's season opener against the San Jose Sharks.

Dube will be re-evaluated in eight weeks and joins a list of players who will miss significant time: Alexey Toropchenko, Logan Mailloux and Tyler Tucker.

"it's an opportunity with our depth," Blues Head Coach Jim Montgomery said. "We talked about our organization having really good depth. We have a lot of good young players, a lot of good veteran players. People are going to get opportunities."

With the exception of Zach Dean stepping in for Dube for Saturday's 6 p.m. game against the Columbus Blue Jackets (Blue Note+, 101 ESPN), Montgomery isn't expected to make any additional changes to the forward lines or defense pairings.

Jordan Binnington will start in goal.
