Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks today announced nine Community and Fan Engagement Night celebrations for the first half of their 2023.24 season. Diwali Night will kick off the festivities on November 15 at Rogers Arena when the Canucks host the New York Islanders.

“We are proud of the role we play connecting and celebrating our diverse community and fanbase through these special nights, and are excited for this season’s events,” said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. “These celebrations highlight and inform our fans about some incredible causes and initiatives; using our hockey platform to help amplify and support a multitude of communities. Our entire organization is excited to make these nights a memorable occasion for all who attend.”

For Diwali night on November 15, fans can expect a pre-game party on the north plaza with a live DJ, bhangra performances and more. Inside the building, fans can take in our Diwali market featuring local South Asian led businesses and food samples. Don’t forget to head to the team store to pick up your full line of Diwali merchandise, featuring the logo designed by local South Asian artist, Jessie Sohpaul.
