Domingue, who was acquired by the Canucks from the New Jersey Devils at the NHL Trade Deadline Monday, grew up in a suburb 30-minutes outside Montreal, where his dad still lives. Not wanting to take Tuesday's game day skate in red Devils equipment, Domingue asked his dad to bring him the old blue and white gear he wore with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the past two seasons.
When Domingue hit the ice alongside Thatcher Demko at the Bell Centre, he didn't look out of place at all.
