Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald joined Sam Kasan and Amanda Stein on this week's episode of Speak of the Devils podcast following a busy offseason. In the past three weeks Fitzgerald has added three highly talented defensemen in Ryan Graves (
trade
), Luke Hughes (
draft
) and Dougie Hamilton (
free agency
). Graves and Hamilton will have an immediate impact on the club for the 2021-22 season, while Hughes will be a force in the future. Fitzgerald also
signed free agent goaltender
Jonathan Bernier.
"There's lots to be excited about, but there are no guarantees," Fitzgerald said. "The only thing I can guarantee is that we're going to be a better team."
