ON RETURNING TO CALGARY:

ON HIS FAVOURITE MEMORY AS A FLAME:

"There's so many. I spent almost half my life here and the relationships you build with teammates within the organization and the community, those are memories and things I'll never forget."

ON THE INJURIES HE DEALT WITH:

"I had a lot of injuries and I never thought it was going to be over, but it was a long road. Going through it was not fun, but I had a lot of support and I'm back now and I feel healthy and am loving the game again.
"It wasn't good, for sure. It was tough to lie down, tough to walk - day-to-day activities. That's in the past now and I'm moving forward."

ON FRESH START IN MONTREAL:

"Honestly, the biggest thing is being healthy. Playing hockey and not worrying about your body and just playing the game, it's a different mindset. Just coming to the rink, you play the game, you have fun, it's a fun game and it's the best game in the world, so it's a good feeling.
"It's exciting. It's fun to play, especially at home. It's a great arena to play in. The fans are crazy, it's loud and it's a great atmosphere. Right from Day 1 since I got there, I've been enjoying myself."

ON THE VIDEO TRIBUTE COMING TONIGHT:

"I saw Chucky was here the other night. I don't know what to expect. Even just being out there for the morning skate, it brings back so many memories - so many good memories. It's going to be a special night."

"I spent almost half my life here ... it's special"

ON HIS MESSAGE TO FLAMES FANS:

"Just thank you. They supported me from Day 1. I came in, 18 years old, and it's a special place and really enjoyed my time here."
